About Me

My passion for goaltending started as a child growing up in Windsor, Ontario Canada. It was there that I played my minor hockey. At the age of seventeen, I was invited to tryout for the Prince Albert Raiders of the Western Hockey League. I accepted that invitation and not only made the hockey team but was eventually named their Most Valuable Player. In 1999, I established Bandits Goalie School in Detroit Michigan. It has grown to become the most recognized goalie school in the state and has also gained an international reputation. 

In 1999 I was hired to coach the goalies at the University of Michigan where I spent seven years. After leaving U of M, I coached the goalies for the Plymouth Whalers and then with the Flint Firebirds, where I coached some outstanding goalies and demonstrated the ability to work within the team concept. During games, I not only chart and monitor our goalies but I also analyze the opposing goalies to pick out situational habits that our team can exploit. After every game, I break down the video and review it with the goaltenders and use it for planning my sessions with the goalies. I have also been a part of the Team Canada World Junior evaluations.

I know that I have the skills that can help your goaltenders and your team. As a former goalie, I understand the mental stresses of the position as well as the technical skills.
